 Lullabys for Adults August 24, 2008
There is purity of soul in the Schozzola's voice, which usually is absent from "better" voices. A grandfather's doting voice beats a Vegas crooner's voice any day. Miss ya, Jimmy.
Durante is Sure to Please. February 7, 2008
Jimmy Durante never professed to be a great singer, but the music he makes will put a smile on your lips and a tear in your eye. The supporting orchestration is on a par with that of the best vocalists. This CD has some of the best music to offer and if it was a vinyl record, mine probably would be worn out by now. And, as always, he concludes with his "Goodnight Mrs.Kalabash, - - - - - " If you love music from this era, you will not be disappointed with this CD.

I'm a Durante fan, but the CD - bought for The Spouse - was a disappointment in many respects.

Very disappointed in the CD. The orchestration is very dull and boring. I doubt I will spend any time listening to it.
