Product Description This CD contains delightful folk and blues classics for children and their families. They can easily sing along to the songs. Some of the songs included are You Are My Sunshine, Bushel and Peck, and Old MacDonald Had a Farm.
Amazon.com Here's a likable roundup for anyone who failed to connect with the family music bandwagon when it first rolled into homes five years ago. Some of the coolest players in the crop contribute to Putumayo Kids: Dan Zanes and Friends' "Bushel and a Peck," Rosie Flores' spirits-to-the-sky "Red Red Robin," and Taj Mahal's gruff "Don't You Push Me Down," all sound out for the world that sweetness and simplicity, paired with the right lyrics add up to perfection. The title suggests singing along, but that's strictly optional. Unlike other samplers that collect catchy songs under that banner, listening along with Putumayo is a lot of fun too, especially given that you're provided with liner notes that list lyrics as well as song meanings in English, French, and Spanish. It should not be overlooked that gazing at this package is satisfying in itself. The Putumayo people consistently captivate with their earthy, whimsical covers, and Sing Along is no exception. --Tammy La Gorce

another great putumayo cd December 16, 2008 great CD. I like the other Putumayo cds better, though, but we are still very happy with this one, too.
Amazing July 3, 2008 Was dreading having to listen to kid music. This CD is amazing. I can't get the songs out of my head. Would highly recommend it!
Great CD for Kids (and parents) June 23, 2008 I bought this CD a few months ago and listen to it a lot in the car with my 5, 3, and 1 year old children. It has great variety in the genres of the music - some very jazzy, some more bluesy. My kids especially love the Belly Button Song, but they are all terrific and not ones that you find on other kids' CDs. Also, although it's "international" all the songs are in English.
Another favourite in the car February 17, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
On long car drives this has been a hit with the Grandkids. The music is catchy and appealing to all ages.
Another fine Putamayo Kids cd! February 6, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have purchased almost the entire Putamayo Kids catalog for my 2 1/2 year old. This cd is just as entertaining as the others! My little girl loves the entire cd though her favourites are "Banana phone", "Red Red Robin" and "I Love You a Bushel and a Peck". As a parent, I appreciate the fact that Putamayo series introduces my child to a variety of music styles - everything from big band, 50s rock and roll, reggae, and folk. This is a must have for parents who grow tired of annoying children's music. Truly a selection that will be appreciated and enjoyed by the whole family!
