Great deal! December 21, 2008 The quality is good. It has all the songs that every toddler needs to know. There are more religious songs that I would like. But, getting three CDs for the price is hard to beat. I keep one at home, another in my car, and the last one in my spouse's car.
best childrens cds ever December 11, 2008 These are the best childrens music cds ever. They are tuneful and have a nice beat and you just have to enjoy them, kids and adults alike. My wife and I enjoy the music as much as our little daughter. In fact, we had a neighbor about 4 years old come over and when she heard it, she wanted to borrow it so we gave her one cd and she refused to give it back, so she is borrowing one cd at a time.
i think its wrong for childrens music to be slow and soothing. its dull and boring. i have always found that my daughter likes songs with a little beat better. great way to put her to sleep by rocking her.
i'd recommend these to anyone. i hope they come out with 2 or 3 more editions, I will buy all of them.
i dont agree they all sound the same. of course, the style is the same but thats the nice part. how can they sound the same, they are different songs with different origins. and I dont really care whether they are patriotic or religious or what not, music transcends all that.
I am going to buy these as presents for any kids. i am so sure all kids will like them.
Will donate to charity October 15, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is the most annoying children's CD I have ever had the displeasure of hearing. All of the songs sound alike and have no character or fun to them. There are also WAY too many songs focusing on patriotism and religion. I consider myself to be a very spiritual person, so other reviews didn't turn me off when I read that there were a few songs that were religious, but they are Christian-focused and there are much too many of them for a child's CD (especially insulting and annoying if a parent doesn't ascribe to a particular religion or is anything other than Christian). All of the patriotic tunes have me running out of the room! Because I've already opened it, I can't return it so I will be donating it. I suggest instead purchasing "Toddler Favorites" by Music for Little People. It's fun, the tunes are lively, and real, non-professional children sing in the songs. My daughter loves it!
Never forget these songs October 12, 2008 This album brings good memories. I lived in the US for sometime and learned to love these songs as if they were part of my own folk tradition. Now that I became a dad myself, I bought this record for my baby daughter but also for my self. The voices are sweet and always in tune and the orchestrations are plain but very effective. It's a good choice.
my daughter likes it very much! July 23, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This CD is wonderful for kids! My daughter loves it, and sings and dances with it all the time!
