Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Releases   October 10, 2008
This album is a compilation re-release of Steven Curtis Chapman's 1997 Greatest Hits CD and his 2004 album All Things New. Hence the title Now and Then.

Steven Curtis Chapman's music is a pop sound with country influences and a heavy Christian message. The Greatest Hits CD is itself a compilation of his early work through 1994's Heaven in the Real World. It shows a lot more of his early country and gospel influences. All Things New has more of a pop sound typical of his later work. They're both good.

If you don't already have these two albums, they are well worth owning. But if you do already own them, why buy them again?
