Amazon.com Released in 1992 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the release of Dr. No, this two-disc set still stands as the ultimate Bond music collection. Disc one includes all of the hit songs from the Bond films, including Shirley Bassey's "Goldfinger," Tom Jones's "Thunderball," Paul McCartney & Wings' "Live & Let Die" and Sheena Easton's "For Your Eyes Only." Disc two includes Louis Armstrong's lovely "We Have All the Time in the World," as well as a nice collection of rarities (Anthony Newley's demo of "Goldfinger"), lesser-known orchestral cuts from Goldfinger and Thunderball, and radio ads for You Only Live Twice, Thunderball, and Live & Let Die. The perfect accompaniment for a martini built for two. Shaken not stirred, of course! --Dan Epstein

Great Rendition of 007 Title Songs September 15, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
The CD is excellent for James Bond music fans. The music is not the original title tracks, however the orchastration is very good and the music unmiskabably BOND.
Sucks August 30, 2008 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
I ordered this and was looking forward to listening to it. What I got was elevator music , none of the artist voices were on there just gay singing along music. There are much better CD's for the money like the CD with a blue cover"Bond's Greatest Hits". Please don't get stung like I did.
Shaken AND Stirred December 28, 2007 These songs are so fine. From Shirley Bassey to Ah-Ha they conjure up vivid images of that super cool spy that every man dreams of being for a moment. John Barry's arrangements are a style all his own. I love it.
Bond CDs December 21, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is exactly what I was looking for. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good mix of Bond classics.
James Bond Tribute December 18, 2007 With so many James Bond theme imitations out there, it was refreshing to finally find the originals on Amazon. Even iTunes does not have this. There is only 1 Shirley Bassey, Carly Simon, Anthony Newley, etc. This is it, forget anything else. Even the newer themes don't match up to the first 007 themes.
