| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Intimate, confessional, poetic, and defiantly independent, Amos' songs touch on self, family, religion, femininity, pain, and love with a searching spirit that translates powerfully into songcraft. This momentous box spans the depth and breadth of her extraordinary repertoire, spotlighting both album versions and a sprawling tapestry of rarities. Disc A - Little Earthquakes extended Disc B - Pink And Pele Disc C - Pele/Venus/Tales Disc D - Scarlet/Beekeeper/Choirgirl Disc E - Bonus B-sides.

A Piano: The Collection November 19, 2008 Great compilation; especially since it's grouped instead of how many anthologies are done...random order. The only problem is storing that packaging. Why put those paper "eco friendly" CD sleeves in a set contained within a nearly two octave faux-piano keyboard? Great music, though.
My beatiful treasure... October 21, 2008 I have this amazing piano. The Tori's coments is perfect. Arrive: buy now! It change your life (lol)
And wave to the shade of the peppermint tree..." October 19, 2008 A Piano: The Collection by Tori Amos is a great starter kit if you are a new Tori fanatic but for me I am an old and loyal fan. Tori has some written and composed some of the best music in the last two decades. You get practically every song on this collection but no covers unfortuntely. I love the b-sides like Never Seen Blue, Beulah Land, Daisy Dead Petals, Honey, Upside Down, and Sister Janet. This is a great holiday gift, I highly recommend it!!
A Lovely collection... June 2, 2008 I've really been enjoying this boxed set. It's a very well put togeather collection and some of the notes from Tori are very interesting. The Demo Version of "A Sorta Fairytale" is probably my favorite track from the set. It gives a really unique view into her creative process being able to hear this track from it's initial conception against the final mixed product.
A wonderful collection--Thanks Tori! May 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I own everything Tori has ever created, but with The Beekeeper and American Doll Posse, I started to feel my toriphile-ism slipping away. The new sounds may appeal to some people, but not to me. I bought this collection after I heard ADP because it's her old music and I'm very pleased with it. It may seem redundant to buy a collection of music I already own, however, it's very nice to have the music kept in one spot together complete with new mixes. I think they did a great job putting it together. Some mixes I hadn't heard before which is a blessing because if you own her singles you have heard a lot of them already. I find myself listening to these 5 discs more than her albums. The packaging is also very lovely. You certainly won't be disappointed with this collection.
