| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description 2008 album from the R&B superstar. Here I Stand is Usher's follow-up to his history-making, nine-times platinum-selling Confessions. The album tells the story of growth: triumphant, reflective, somewhat defiant and it marks a new period in Usher's life and creative expression. Here I Stand finds Usher working with some of the best producers and writers around including Polow Da Don, Jermaine Dupre, Dre & Vidal and Dream & Tricky Stewart. Features the first single 'Love In The Club'. Laface.

wanting more September 4, 2008 Theres so many different tracks I love on this album. Song's I didn't really pay attendtion the first time definately stand out now. I won't go to say this is my absolute favorite album from him because he's got so many good albums I like, but he did have some great tracks on this one!
Usher, Usher, Usher.... August 30, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have thoroughly enjoyed this CD. I have always enjoyed Usher's music and style, and this is the second CD I have purchased of Ushers'. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it! He seems so much more mature...(I guess the birth of his son has a lot to do with this level of awareness).
Usher in his best August 17, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
An album to listen 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Usher maturing August 16, 2008 This is an older, wiser, and more mature Usher. The songs seem to reflect his new life as a husband and father with all of the complexities that his new life entails. He also admits in 'Appetite' that there are always temptations to go back to his single ladies-man ways and that there has to be an active choice not to. 'Moving Mountains' is a painful, yearning account of a relationship (marriage) that is failing.
Usher! August 5, 2008 Well no matter what can be said about this artist you can't deny his vocal ability. He is undoubtedly the male artist most of the others who have come after him have emmulated. He has put together a great album of songs that define him at this time in his life. The first half is great but sort of falls off somewhere in the middle with a few noticeable tracks but is still overall some good music. Not quite 5 stars but worthwhile if you like good R&B.
