Product Description Marking his debut release on Atlantic Records, this set of original tunes does more than that. Recorded in just 11 days at Nashville's historic Ocean Way Studios, Keep Coming Back confirms Broussard's position as an artist with a unique gift of channeling the multiple spirits of classic R&B and soul into contemporary terms.

Fantastic November 10, 2008 If you like funky love songs, are a fan of Stevie Wonder's, or have any soul at all, this C.D. will be in your player for a long time. Keep Coming Back, Marc.
Soul is on the rise October 28, 2008 The "soul" revival is well represented by Marc Broussard. If this represents what he does he'll be around a long time
Amazing voice October 8, 2008 Marc Broussard has an amazing voice and a good songwriter. He doesn't disappoint on this new CD either. I had the opportunity of seeing him live at the Crocodile Cafe in Seattle and was just as impressed with his live performance.
Marc Broussard: The Real Thing September 19, 2008 I bought the ep a few months back that included a couple songs from this new release. Last week I had the pleasure of seeing Marc perform live in Lowell MA and was looking forward to getting this new release. It's a solid effort and the previous reviewer hit the nail on the head. Marc is the funkiest white guy out there today. He has a fine voice and knows how to use it. The Real Thing should be a radio smash. There are many others fine songs on this cd, althought the two duets don't really do it for me, resulting in the 4 star rating. I look forward to seeing Marc back in the New England area and recommend that everyone go out and support this artist.
This record will leave wanting to Keep Coming Back for more... September 19, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have kind of followed Marc Broussard froma distance for a awhile but he not an artist that I ever really considered one of my favorites. I love his song "Home" and also what songs I have hear from his last EP "Must Be The Water." So when I saw this record up on AOL to listen to for free I figured why not. After listening to it twice I decided to go get it. "Keeping Coming Back" is a southern record made by a southern boy, and I am not talking about southern rock. The first thing you notice about this record is the New Orleans, Louisana Bayou feel that permeates much of the album. From the jams to the mid-tempo numbers to the ballads you can feel it there in much of this album. I read on Wikipedia that Marc's father, Ted Broussard, is a Louisana Hall of Fame Guitarist and former member of The Boogey Kings, and you can really tell on this record that Marc grew up around this kind of music. And that is the feeling that I get when listening to this record, that Marc is playing the music he grew up listening to and learning from the guys that played it. And I don't mean as sort of kind retro vibe or as tribute to them, but that he is playing what comes naturally to him. This record covers the gamet from the funky to the bluesy to R&B to even some bluesy country (with guest vocals from LeAnn Rimes). I think it should also be stated that this guy has a great voice. He can sing next to LeAnn Rimes and not sound out classed. Instead he can match note for note and sound just as good. This record is enjoyable to listen to, and I promise you will find yourself bobbing your head while listening to it. It will also leave wanting to see Marc perform live. If you enjoy Dave Barnes, Matt Wertz, Gavin Degraw, or any artists like these, then check this one out.
