Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
Explicit Version. P!nk comes right on time in 2008 with her highly anticipated and provocatively personal Funhouse album, addressing both her public and private persona, as only P!nk can. Teaming once again with hitmakers Max Martin, Billy Mann, and others, P!nk is poised to leave another memorable mark worldwide! Since her debut in 2000, P!nk (Alecia Moore) has been widely hailed as a fearlessly talented singer, songwriter and the Pennsylvania native's genre-defying creative risk-taking has propelled her to global stardom. To date, the chanteuse has sold 22 million albums cumulatively worldwide. 12 tracks.

5 out of 5 stars Absolutely awesome!   November 20, 2008
This is a great cd! If I could give it 100 stars, I would!

4 out of 5 stars Great, Great Pink   November 19, 2008
This is a rousing and fun album. I have been listening to a lot of different music lately and this is a great work. Pink is really in the pink with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

5 out of 5 stars A Change of Pace but A Great Album   November 19, 2008
Being a long time fan of Pink, this was a different type of album from her but a beautiful demonstration of her versatility as a singer.
Yes, the album has some ballads. It's got more of a funky, Indy feel to it than a lot of her latest releases.

Love it!

5 out of 5 stars Shallow, pretentious, silly, self-absorbed ... and GREAT   November 19, 2008
OK ... so it seems Alecia Beth had a brief, failed marriage, and it left her feeling all grown up ... sort of. And she felt sad and lonely. Well, sometimes. And she had regrets ... but mostly not. And she realized it must have been partly her fault ... but mostly not and besides, he shoulda made allowances because she's - you know: P!nk.

So it seems she set aside the martinis and tequila shooters and took up sipping good wine and (this is key) she seems to have put a big, whoppin' playlist of Joni Mitchell songs on her mp3 player ... and settled down to write some songs.

The result: a complete failure as a sensitive, meaning-laden, "I'm a mature woman with lots of deep feelings and thoughtful reflections now" CD ...

BUT - it's also another really fine, fluffy dancing/hanging out/sing-along-and-pump-your-fist-while-you-rock-your-booty album from an IRRESISTIBLE and very talented, unreconstructed pop star.

It seems that every time she tries to change, she stays the same, and that's part of the beauty of what she's done with her past albums and now again with this one. She manages to try new things while remaining what she is at her core - one of the most effective, compelling and gifted dance/pop artists out there.

Can't wait to hear what comes next.

This "failed" album is, in my opinion, another huge, delicious success. I hope she "gets better" - but what does that really mean?

4 out of 5 stars Could Of Made It Better If They Hadn't Left Off Some of The Good Tracks   November 18, 2008
I like this album, but I like "I'm Not Dead" better though.

1. "So What" - 10/10, I love this song! Great radio hit. It's so in your face and fun.
2. "Sober" - 10/10, another great one, I love the lyrics, violins, and the overall production of this song. I smell another hit.
3. "I Don't Believe You" - 1/10, my least favorite on the album, it's pretty bland and boring, and kind of drags on, not amazing by Pink's standards.
4. "One Foot Wrong" - 7/10, it's good in a 60's/70's sort of way, but again not amazing, and kind of forgetable.
5. "Please Don't Leave Me" - 8/10, I like this song quite a bit, the production's pretty good on it.
6. "Bad Influence," - 10/10, Another fun and in your face song, it's great, and you'll have a blast singing along and listening to it.
7. "Funhouse" - 9/10, great lyrics and great beat.
8. "Crystal Ball" - 5/10, reminds me of "The One That Got Away" from "I'm Not Dead." This song is better however, but still pretty forgetable.
9. "Mean" - 10/10, I love this song, especially the chorus, very good vocals and lyrics.
10. "It's All Your Fault" - 10/10, great track, love the production, and the song's catchy, I could see it as a radio hit.
11. "Ave Mary A" - 10/10, I love the guitars on this track and the lyrics are very powerful.
12. "Glitter In The Air" - 9/10, great ballad, very beautiful song.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think they could have made this album better if they put tracks like "Boring," "This Is How It Goes Down," and "Could've Had Everything" on the album, instead some of the mediocre songs on the album, but oh well. Overall, great job P!nk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
