hilarious September 30, 2008 Saw this guy on Comedy Central and also heard him on satellite radio on the bluecollar radio station. He's extremely funny and does some good impressions of asian buffett managers and Irish priest. Great CD to listen to on a road trip we laughed all the way from Ohio to Detroit,MI.
Show Me the Buffet September 6, 2008 We laughed so hard we had to watch it again because we missed so much when we were hysterical!
John Pinette August 31, 2008 John Pinette uses his "Cherub-like demeanor" to make your sides split. An outstanding compilation of stories. Used this to break the tediousness of being stuck in a traffic jam-- it works!!! You'll love it.
Imagine if he really were in a Speedo... June 22, 2008 One of the funniest standup albums ever. John doesn't just say funny things, he says things funny: his delivery (shouting a la Sam Kinison at times) is perfect. As a chubby man myself (273 pounds) and a fellow Bostonian, I can identify with him. He pokes fun at skinny people who "browse" the buffet (hey! Grab, and move!) and his own "cherub like demeanor". You might think this is the type of album you might only play once or twice. I say, nay, nay. It's just as funny upon repeated listens!
Funny, But Not His Best June 4, 2008 It's really hard to go wrong with John Pinette because he's just a very funny comedian, but I have to say that this CD is not his best. Not that it isn't funny, but I just had extremely high expectations after seeing "I'm Starvin'!" which I feel is his best routine.
