Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Great Easy Listening   August 12, 2008
This is a nice laid back cd that's great for easy listening; I especially love their 'Welcome to the Jungle' version. I'd probably rate it a four and a half but not all the songs fit with their format. Overall it makes for a nice addition to your music collection whether or not you're a fan of the original songs.

4 out of 5 stars Awesome!!!!   July 30, 2008
If you are a lover of both, heavy metal and bossa nova, you'll love this album.

There's only one song that was not done well, but the rest make up of for it, plus is cheaper to buy the whole album than a few song.

Enjoy!

5 out of 5 stars Just great   April 25, 2008
The first one I got was Bossa 'n Stones, since I had already listened to it. I was a little bit afraid that the Roses wouldn't sound as good in these remixes... Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. This CD is really good too, although some songs do sound a little popsy and hip-hopsy, overall I am really happy with the purchase, I guess I'll keep on buying the Bossa 'n Somebody CDs.

4 out of 5 stars Pretty good...   September 13, 2007

A bunch of GnR classics given a once-over. Most of it isn't really bossa nova, but rather a mix of Brazillian rhythms and jazzy inflections. The most interesting tunes, as always, are the most radically re-imagined. "Paradise City," for example, becomes a jazz-funk number, while "Sweet Child o Mine", despite the loveliness of the flute which stands in for Slash's guitar, remains merely nice. Although a few of the vocalists are a bit of a one-trick pony, this is overall a decent disc and a testament to the strength-- if not intelligence-- of GnR's songwriting.

4 out of 5 stars Relaxing music   April 10, 2007

Perfect to listen with friends or alone, very relaxing. In my opinion is better not to try to compare with the original Guns and roses, is just what it is!!!!
