Album Description Double CD set from Tiesto in 2008 with his album, In Search of Sunrise 7. On this outing Tiesto takes us to the Far East. ISOS 7 was completely mixed and recorded in Thailand. The first disc expresses the beauty of Asia, whereas the second one offers an energetic view on how trance goes down when it is played with an Asian flair. The track list reveals the genuine style of Tiesto put together in the In Search Of Sunrise 7 Asia. The concept driven DJ mix series I.S.O.S. looks to explore the unique sounds of a specific geographic region with past stops in Ibiza, Lation America and LA. Tiesto has spent over two decades in the electronic music world and he is recognized as the 'World's Number One DJ'. Many top artists call on Tiesto for his vision in remixing their tracks as he

Solid Tiesto Album August 20, 2008 Solid album when played from start to finish. I didn't like it the first time through, but I gave it another chance and can't stop listening to it. Not equal to Tiesto's previous In Search Of Sunrise installments, but a great album.
Best ISOS since 4 (disk 2) August 19, 2008 I have ALL the ISOS and many other Tiesto sets including several from the Magik series. I must say that disk 2 of this new ISOS is the best I've heard of the series, with the possible exception of 4 Latin America, also disk 2. I know many out there will argue that the original, or perhaps ISOS 3 is the best, but I guess it comes down to what you like. I'm not heavy into lyrics, but Tiesto does them better than most. This disk takes you on a journey and is non-stop 'till the disk ends. Disk 1 is OK, but you'll like it more if you also liked ISOS 4-6 first disks. I'm into the second disks more myself.
i've heard better from Tiesto, but this is still a good cd August 12, 2008 me as a DJ, i don't usually buy full cd's from DJ's, i mostly just get what's hot single wise on vinyl most times that is when dealing w/ dance music... due to the location of where i am at right now, the stores here don't sell any dance music. the closest to dance are NOW comps. NOW to me ain't dance, it's old top 40. so when i see a dance cd like Tiesto or Oakie up in there, i get it...
well, i must give the cd about a 3 3/4 to 4 star rating. i got the 2 cd set one... i def ripped alot of the tracks from my cd to my pc.. so i liked alot of what i heard, but i've heard better from Tiesto on past albums and mixes.. disc 1 is trance and what sounds like some house influence and tekno influence on it too. i like disc 1 better then 2, but 2 is good too. i liked the tracks w/ the vocals too more then the instrumentals. i agree w/ reviewer Snyder... it has a good balance of instrumental and vocal tracks on here.. personally i could of done w/ 2 extra vocal tracks, maybe 3, but that's just me. i'm not a huge vocal trance listener either, but Tiesto knows how to make that stuff work... as does ATB, Olive, and some others, etc...
so it's a good balance there. when i first started dj-ing, my passion was for this type of trance, and melodic/prog. trance... that was before i got into hard trance.. i like all kinds of electronica, from chill and trip hop to hard trance to a lil gabber, etc.. so i like all kinds of music/dance music.. it's a good cd, good mix... i liked what i heard... and alot of what's on disc 2 sounds more like symphonys to me.. i believe i heard a mandolin on one of the tracks.. it's a beautiful track too..
i can't say many bad things about cd, i did like it. reason why i say the low rating, is cuase i've heard better from tiesto on past albums. also becuase, the trance on this cd, is light.. compared to past stuff of his, it's light trance. i can't even say categorize it as melodic or prog. trance. to me, it's just light trance/trance... i think we can expect to see some of the tracks on here on some trance comps, like "This is Trance", and "Ultra Trance" mix cd's, etc... i'm sure some of these tracks will pop up on comps..
i wish Tiesto could have put on more tracks he actually created. his track is one that stands out on here...
all in all, not a bad cd... if you like the lighter side of trance.. a good buy, but nothing to rush to the record/music shop for..
One of Tiesto's strongest mixes August 10, 2008 This mix is so good. I mean, it's really good. I've heard all of the ISOS series, and ISOS7 in my opinion is probably his most consistent (and by "consistent" i mean that there are very few tracks that you'd go out of your way to skip). ISOS6 was really good as well, but there are a few tracks here and there that I'll skip sometimes. There's not much at all to skip on ISOS7. The bridges from track to track are good, and the melodies are plenty. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I'm waiting to see if Tiesto can outdo this one; He's set a pretty high mark to top.
Question: Why do alot of people knock on ISOS4, as though ISOS5 blew it away?? Overall I think 4 is stronger than 5.
in search of sunrise, asia August 5, 2008 This cd is one of my favorite tiesto disks. Great sound and very appeasing bpm. Calm and cool for a good day.
