Classic Isley's October 17, 2004 I can never say enough about the Isley Brothers&what they have meant to Me&My Ears. Incredible Music.I Put them with any Band in the History of Music making period.they have Influenced so many Great Artists from the Beatles to R.kelly.this collection showcases them way back in the day.I enjoy all Era's of there work.this is was the early start&still sounds fresh to this day.
At their roughest, wildest, and best. For purists. March 17, 2003 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Twist and Shout, Twistin' with Linda, You Better Come Home are some of the most delirous and funkiest songs ever recorded. Much preferable to their weaker Motown crossover efforts. Unfortunately, there is the usual filler, covers, etc., and, not being recorded for Wand, Shout 1 & 2 aren't here either, but it's still worth 5 stars for evoking the early days of R&B, when records had real soul.
