With the recent release of the classic TV series starring Mike Connors on DVD, we figured now was the time to reissue Lalo s stunning soundtrack work for the series, which, with its kinetic blend of crime-jazz and late- 60s funk, soundtrack aficionados count every bit as crucial as his smash Mission: Impossible Theme! Mind you, this is not the late- 70s, disco-fied re-record Lalo did for the Aleph label this is the ORIGINAL soundtrack on the Paramount label, which anticipated his excellent scores for the detective thrillers Dirty Harry and Bullitt.
