| Editorial Reviews:
Album Description Since its inception the Nightmusic marquee has rapidly established itself as a yearly staple for forward-thinking dance fans' music collections. Drawing standout reviews from dance press and websites around the world, The Thrillseekers' capacity for intuitive track selection & super-fluid mixing has been brilliantly born out on the discs of Nightmusic. Prior to the release of `Night Music Vol 1', The Thrillseekers' name was synonymous with two things. The hit Synaesthesia (`Fly Away') which went Top 20 in the UK and has gone on to sell in excess of 300,000 units, securing its place as one of the most enduring Trance records of all time. Equally, Steve `Thrillseekers' Helstrip is renowned for his high-profile remixes, including revamps for Tiesto, Armin, Ferry Corsten and Chicane. In 2000 He has also reworked Sonique's `Feels So Good' into a worldwide, # 1 smash. The first 2 volumes of Niightmusic have sold in excess of 50,000 copies and with Volume 3, he ups the ante in everyway, bringing together a superbly mixed, cutting edge EDM selection. The Concept of Disc One (Fast Forward} casts the farthest reaching view possible into new, upfront dance music. The mix is diverse, imaginative and features the new Thrillseekers single. Disc Two (Rewind) reverses the direction and looks back at the underground anthems that have dominated `Seekers' sets over the last year. The disc ultimately will become the yearbook of the music that's come to encapsulate Steve's unique, floor-rocking sound.

Nightmagic! November 4, 2008 Excellent choice of songs, excellent mixing and the momentum never goes down until the end of a CD! This is pure magic!
Surprisingly Good Mix October 24, 2008 I didnt really know what i was getting into when i got this album. Amazon just kept nudging me to look at this CD then i finally did and realized it had some really good artists on it. I was skeptical because I didnt know much about the Thillseekers but This CD makes me want to get the rest of them to see what they're all about. Dont hesitate about getting this one.
The Thrillseekers Deliver a Knockout October 23, 2008 As a dance music journalist, I get sent a lot of CDs to review. Most of them, unfortunately, are crap. This CD was sent to me six months ago, and yet I can still tell you exactly where it is - in my car, with CD1 in the player, and CD2 in the console ready to be played next. It's not just that the songs on here are strong - they are - but also that the mix itself across both CDs flows just as a proper DJ set should.
CD1 starts with The Thrillseekers' own "The Last Time" - a warm and pumping Ferry Corsten-meets-Above and Beyond progressive trance bomb that will stick in your head from the first listen. From there, each mix is as seamless as it is logical. There's no dead space or boring bits, but there's also enough time between tracks to let each track breathe. (If you've ever listened to an old Gatecrasher CD, where each tune shows up for two minutes and the mix flows like a kid with ADD trying to find a TV channel he likes, you know what I mean here.)
CD2 is a bit (ok, a lot) more driving, and is decidedly more trance-centric, and has plenty to recommend it if you're looking for a more energetic pace. Here as with CD1 there are melodies aplenty, and the mixing is pretty hard to fault.
Overall, an excellent choice for fans of melodic dance music. In a sea of mediocrity, this mix is a standout.
Awesome Mix!! October 19, 2008 The latest edition to The Thrillseekers lineup is an excellent potrayal of superb mixing abilities and keeping the mood throughout the entire album only mimiced by the likes of Paul Oakenfold and Tiesto. If you are a true fan of club and trance music then this album is a must to any collection. After listening the Nightmusic Vol. 3 I was convinced The Thrillseekers was the artist to always look for in other releases, whether it be a remix of your favorite song or a full on mix album.
Supreme Trance! July 19, 2008 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I'm convinced that when Steve Helstrip did Vol. 1, his intention was to shake up the global Trance scene and leave the biggest mark possible. Not only did he do that, but he's also been building up steam and getting better with each NightMusic release that followed. Even the album art of all three are as great as the music inside. This one has even more of the sound that I've always been into (especially that PVD-esque beat-skip in Miracle Cure at the 2:55 point). To me it's one of the best Trance compilations I've ever picked up. He better be one of the top-ranked Trance producers if the fans know what's good for them. ..Can't wait to see what Vol. 4 is gonna be like...
