The price has really come down...I won this complete set in 1993 from a classical radio station, WCLV, in Cleveland, for sending in a postcard. The original price then was $2,000 to $3,000......so long ago I forget.

This is the best on the market of a complete Mozart Edition. Nearly all here are top recordings. Exept some of the symfonies and some of the Operas + some of the Piano concertos. Here you have the best Requiem ever made, string quintets (one of two best), pianosonatas (One of two best), and many more. A Pleasure for the ears. If you shall buy One, buy this. Maybe only 20 of all Cd's is not all time best. Sound is very good. My point is total 9/9 of 10/10 The first number are for the artist and playing and the second number are for the sound. Here is the best Mozart philips have to offers. Highly recomended collection of Mozart.
