Editorial Reviews:

Album Description
Rockabye Baby! transforms timeless rock songs into beautiful instrumental lullabies. Instead of distorted guitars and thunderous drums, we've used glockenspiel, vibraphone, mellotron and other instruments.

On this album, they'll enjoy Tool's best known anthems without the pesky earplugs you didn't bother to wear growing up. These incredibly lush lullaby versions of Tool's songs will captivate and engage your baby while they drift off to slumberland. Forget Baby Einstein. What about Baby Maynard? This is brain food for a whole different breed of whiz kid.

5 out of 5 stars Perfect for your little Tool fan   December 18, 2008
My fiance and I are die hard Tool fans, and have a 9 month old son. (We even considered the name Maynard if that tells you anything) I listened to Tool all the time while he was in the womb and he absolutely loves it now. If we listen to anything else in the car he has a fit. We bought this as his first CD, and he digs it. His dad likes it just as much. I would buy this for your child if you like Tool, even if you are turned off by the music I think you would like this. The instruments sound so great and you can totally tell what every song is, I sing the words to him as we listen to this CD at bedtime. I plan to get the Zeppelin one too. SO great!!!! I recommend to all my friends

5 out of 5 stars Creating TOOL Fans for Generations to Come   May 28, 2008
I bought this cd while my wife was still pregnant. While we didn't listen to this cd a whole bunch, I would like to think my son loved it. TOOL is my wife and I's favorite band. It is a very cool gift idea, and I got some brownie points from the wife.

5 out of 5 stars Prying open my third eye   April 14, 2008
While this CD isn't Tool in thier truest fasion, it does capture the overall feeling of Tool and the emotion that MJK pours into their music. True fans who understand things like Wings for Marie, Judith from APC, the backstory to Eulogy and Message to Harry Manback will enjoy this CD.

Being a huge Tool fan since 1992, picking up this CD was a no-brainer. I kid you not, I ordered it for myself for Christmas along with some gifts for others. It wasn't 4 days later that I found I'd be putting the CD to good use in a little under 9 months!

I am a huge TOOL fan and I recently had a baby. he likes listening to TOOL music but it is a little loud for his baby ears. When I saw this I thought it would be a perfect addition to our collection. He hasn't listened to it much yet, but I love it. If you are a TOOL fan and like variations on their music you will enjoy this.
