Diet Coke uses the song "Sweet Disposition" in their commercial. When I would watch episodes of "Top Chef", a Bravo reality show, on "On Demand" they would play the diet coke commercial with the song. At first I found this song so annoying that I would mute the tv every time the commercial came on. I don't know why. But one day I thought to myself what is it about this song I don't like. I listened and could not figure out what the hick they were singing. So I became curious, I don't know why, and looked up a website that list songs on commercials. I listened to the song and then looked up the words on a lyrics website. Now, I absolutely love the song. I downloaded it and have shared it with others but it appears no one in my circle have paid attention to the song or heard of the group. Don't love the rest of the cd, yet. But I love the group and I wish them phenomenal success.

I don't post many reviews despite buying a lot of MP3s from Amazon. Thought I had to share my excitement for this band as they are *relatively* unknown. Got the album several months ago and it has not left my playlist. Its got a very cool coldplay feel to it (_new_ coldplay that is). The lead singer has a very versatile voice and gets into the higher octaves. Really think the album as a whole is very strong. If I had to make some recommendations about particular songs, I would recommend "down river" "sweet disposition" "love lost" "fader"... as you can tell, I love a lot of these songs. Also if these guys are coming to your town, check them out. Their live show at Lollapalooza was awesome and very well attended.

This CD is truly great, hauntingly beautiful lyrics and music, and the title, Conditions conveys all the emotions of the heart, soul, and the "moments of love." The lead singer, Dougie Mandagi has the voice of an angel, the intensity of a tiger and he also writes, plays the guitar and drums, and all the members of The Temper Trap are extremely talented, like U2 The Temper Trap really enjoy touring and creating together. Anyone that truly loves music written and performed by the actual band and not overly done in the studio will love this CD and will want to see this Austrialian Band perform live. After getting this CD, if they are not performing live near you check them out on youtube.

I usually come across one good album every year. 'Conditions' is just that. I really like the single 'Sweet Disposition'. I was glad I purchesd the entire MP3 album because it plays well, straight through, as an entire album. "Conditions' sounds like it is a 3rd or 4th effort from a seasoned band, however this is Temper Trap's first release (I believe). Enjoy!
